Book "Pushing the limits"

Pushing the Limits is a true account of the dramatic events that drastically changed my life in September 1998. That was when I attempted to qualify for the solo sailing race, “The Rum Route,” in my sailboat Thriller. This book takes you through a solo Atlantic crossing on the open sea with all the daily joys, fears and suffering that I experienced. The ocean is a hostile environment where man is only tolerated. There I lived in hellish torment, several times coming close to death. It was my stamina, determination and tremendous will to live that carried me through this unequal and merciless struggle
